Our Story
Frank and Mike Leone grew up watching their dad, Mario, build a small landscape maintenance operation from the ground up. Everything he had went into the work. Clients noticed. They stayed. Then they sent their neighbors.
When the time came, the two brothers took what Mario established and expanded it into full-scale landscape design and construction. Frank studied landscape architecture and horticulture at the University of Massachusetts Amherst — adding formal depth to the hands-on experience he'd spent his whole life building.
The values Mario built the business on are still the ones Frank and Mike live by. Nothing gets handed off. Nothing gets overlooked. It's the only way they know.
Our Business
Leone Landscape & Construction is a family-owned company based in Newton, MA. Over the past few decades, we've had the privilege of working on some of Greater Boston's most beautiful residential and commercial properties — with projects spanning the full scope of outdoor living. Custom masonry, stone patios, terraces, retaining walls, water features, and complete landscape installation, just to name a few.
As a full-service landscape contractor, we handle everything from initial site preparation and grading through to final planting and ongoing maintenance. Typically, our work takes us from Brookline and Wellesley to Weston, Dover, Needham, Lexington, and Greater Boston. Occasionally, it takes us as far as The Cape and The Islands, New Hampshire, and Maine.
